Buds of Spring

As February draws to close and at last the days start to lengthen it’s time to reflect on a busy and fruitful start to the year for all our athletes. Over the first two months of the new year, through rain, more rain, snow, wind, cold mornings and dark evenings they have consistently applied themselves. Whether they are embarking on the first steps of structured training, looking for a parkrun pb, targeting specific spring races or laying the foundations for international races later in the year their dedication has been unstinting and a delight to observe.

A number of athletes have raced across a variety of terrains, running fell races, trail races, orienteering races and road races varying in distances from a few miles to ultra distances. And it has been fantastic to witness how pleased they have been with the outcomes.

Now we can start to look forward to the lighter and warmer days of spring. Hopefully for many of our athletes this will bring the rewards their winter efforts deserve with satisfying performances in their target races. We’d like to think that going forward future blogs will be full of the stories of fulfilled individuals.

For Renew Your Running it is proving to be a particularly exciting year with the variety of athletes we are currently working with across different running disciplines and performance levels. Each athlete is a unique project, at their own point in their running journey, with their own unique needs and goals and it gives us immense pleasure to see each individual progress and enjoy their journey.

If you think we could help you then please do not hesitate to get in touch. Whatever your level or goals.
